(from April 15, 2009)
A Lodge Grass man died following a two-vehicle crash which happened at around 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
The Montana Highway Patrol tells us a 57-year old Lodge Grass man was attempting to turn his Toyota Corolla onto a private lane off of Montana Secondary 451 at the same time a Pontiac Bonneville was heading northbound when the vehicle partially T-boned.
The driver of the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene and was not wearing a seat belt.
We're told the occupants in the Bonneville fled the scene and it's still not known who the Bonneville belonged to and how many passengers were inside the vehicle.
Authorities say that speed does not appear to have been a factor in the crash and the MHP is investigating the accident.
