Many people have heard of the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, but what about The Good, The Bad, and the Forgiven?
That's the story of one of the mobs biggest money makers, but instead of organized crime, Michael Franzese has chosen to follow the Lord, and he's making a living by traveling the country to share his story.
Franzese has been through countless jury trails, spent seven years in jail, and even survived a mafia death sentence.
"I believe without a doubt you don't get way with criminal conduct anymore" said Franzese who spoke on Tuesday at the Montana Convention Center in Billings. "I really try to lead these young people in the right direction and try to get them to understand I left the biggest gang in the world. Some of these gang bangers who say they can't get out (but) there certainly is a way out. The straight way is the right way."
Since getting out of prison 12 years ago, Franzese's career has involved sharing his stories with all ages from the corporate level to faith level as well as speaking to pro athletes about the dangers of gambling.
His appearance in Billings was hosted by the Big Sky Youth Education Foundation.
