The identity of a man who died in a rollover crash near Garrison Tuesday has been released.

Jesus Javier Sevilla Licea, 29, of Sunnyside, Washington was ejected from the vehicle at about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday crash near Garrison. He died at the scene.

The crash occurred when a Dodge Durango was traveling eastbound on Interstate 90. The driver of the vehicle lost control and hit the median, which caused the vehicle to roll, according to Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Roger Kinney.

Two other passengers who were injured were transported to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.

The crash is believed to have been caused by icy conditions on the roadway, according to the Highway Patrol.

The Highway Patrol added that there have been a number of crashes near Garrison since the snow began falling Monday night.

There have been four additional other accidents resulting in injury reported in the region since the onset of the latest snowstorm.

One of those crashes was quite serious with two people taken to the intensive care unit at St. James Healthcare in Butte after their vehicle crashed on Interstate 90 near the Ramay exit.

There were two incidents in where vehicles slid off the road and needed help getting back on.
