Taiwan expected to lift beef restrictions

Montana and Wyoming ranchers could see an important beef market fully restored soon after the government of Taiwan recently disclosed that it will normalize beef trade after years of restrictions.

Former president of the Montana Cattleman's Association and current Democratic Congressional candidate Dennis McDonald just returned from Taiwan and said that he expects a formal announcement from the Taiwanese President within a few weeks.

McDonald met with both the President and Vice President of Taiwan during his trip overseas.
