A Bearcreek teen is dead following a one-vehicle rollover accident which happened outside of Red Lodge on Wednesday.
The Montana Highway Patrol reports that the accident happened just after 4:30 p.m. when an 18-year-old male driving westbound on Secondary 308 near Red Lodge drifted to the north side of the highway, over corrected and then lost control. The vehicle then slid southbound off the highway, rolled over once and ejected the driver.
The victim was taken to Beartooth Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The MHP reports that alcohol was not a factor in the crash and it's unknown at this time if speed played a role in the crash.
