The Powell County coroner has released the names of the two men who were killed in a crash near Ovando on Tuesday night.
The victims are Guy Riggin, 50, of Great Falls, formerly from Elliston, and Kevin Marquis, 38, of Cascade.
The Montana Highway Patrol says speed and alcohol played a role in the crash. which happened late Tuesday.
Officials say they received a call about the accident just after 11:00 p.m. Marquis, Riggin and another passenger were heading down Highway 200, when Marquis lost control of the pickup truck which then rolled down a steep embankment.
Marquis and Riggin were thrown from the pickup and killed while the third man was flown to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, and was later released. MHP says no one in the pickup was wearing a seatbelt.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the call came in just after 11:00 p.m. after a 38-year-old man from Cascade lost control of his 1998 Dodge pickup truck and rolled down a steep embankment along Highway 200.
Both the driver and a 50-year-old passenger from Great Falls were ejected and died on scene. A third man riding in the middle of the pickup was flown to St. Patrick Hospital and later released.
MHP reports that no one in the pickup truck was wearing a seatbelt. The names of the victims are not being released at this time.
