Anaconda Commissioners will meet Tuesday night to discuss adopting a resolution to form a task force aimed at preventing underage drinking.
A committee has been working on this for more than a year, Jan Stergar of the Southwest Montana Community Change Project said.
The Minor in Possession Task Force is an effort to reduce underage alcohol use and alcohol related injuries and deaths in Anaconda-Deer Lodge County, she said.
The task force will be a separate entity but will work closely with preventive programs and the DUI Task force, Stergar said.
