President Barack Obama has nominated Michael Punke of Missoula to serve as the U.S. ambassador to the World Trade Organization, which is based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Punke worked for 14 years in Washington DC, including two years on President Clinton's staff as Director of International Economic Affairs.
He's also an author and adjunct professor at the University of Montana.
