A 72-year-old Townsend man died in a Friday evening crash on Highway 12.
The man died after losing control of his vehicle while trying to avoid another vehicle that had slowed to pull off Highway 12 between Avon and Garrison, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
