Bonner residents getting new bus stop

Bonner residents are getting a new Mountain Lion bus shelter thanks to a student at Hellgate High School.

Holden Gagner, 16, is managing the installation of the bus shelter in front of Bonner Elementary School. He's a Life Scout with Missoula Troop 1909 and this is the last project he must complete to earn his Eagle Scout Award.

All of the supplies must be donated to complete the project and Gagner spent over 50 hours with his mom contacting stores who would donate to the cause.

Holder says the project is special to him because he used to attend Bonner Elementary School. "It's just going to be a great feeling when I'm done, knowing that I helped my sister and everybody else that goes to this school."

Gagner says he hopes to finish the shelter in three to four weeks.
