Posted:

Updated:

Bitterroot National Forest fire crews are planning to burn some slash piles in the area southwest of the Lake Como boat parking over the course of the next few weeks.

Forest officials say they do not expect this to create any impacts to recreationists, hunters or firewood cutters who might be in the area.

Call the Darby Ranger District at (406) 821.3913 if you have questions about the burning project.
