A 64-year old man is in critical condition at St. Patrick Hospital following a four car crash near Lolo.

Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Sean Finley says the wreck happened just before 8:00 a.m. Friday morning on Highway 93 South.

Finley says three vehicles were northbound and an SUV was southbound. The SUV lost control, spun and hit a car, then spun again and hit a van head-on. Parts came off of the SUV and landed on another car.

The 64-year old Stevensville man who was driving the van was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver and the passenger of the SUV were also taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Finley says that charges against the SUV driver are still pending.
