Overturned truck causing problems near Finley Point

Updated:

An accident on Montana Highway 35, about one mile south of the Finley Point Fire Station, is causing significant traffic problems.

An overturned chip truck, which was reported around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, caused both lanes to be closed for removal of the wreckage.

In addition, the telephone company will be blocking off one lane of the road for the remainder of Tuesday evening to replace fiber optic cable.

Drivers are urged to find alternate routes, otherwise expect significant delays, reduced speeds, and single-lane traffic.
