The Air National Guard landed helicopters at six Butte schools Thursday in conjunction with Red Ribbon Week.
One helicopter came in for a landing near the Webster Garfield Alternative School. After landing at each school, guardsmen then talked to students about drug prevention.
Red Ribbon Week is about encouraging the community and especially children to be drug-free and also to recognize the hard work of law enforcement, teachers and health care professionals working to prevent drug abuse.
The Red Ribbon Week activities will continue in Butte on Friday.
