Butte stroll button design winners announced

The winners of this year's Mainstreet Uptown stroll button design have been announced.

Hundreds of entries were received for this year's event, the theme of which is "A Stroll Down Memory Lane."

The winner for the adult button design Butte High School sophomore Natalie Reget who entered her drawing of a Columbia Gardens Roller Coaster scene. She will receive $50 in Uptown Bucks   A second grader at West Elementary, Sydney Doyleas, is this year's runner-up.

For the child prize stroll button, Ciarra Peek, a fifth grader at Emerson Elementary, submitted the winning design of a memory of Butte scene. She will also receive $50 in Uptown Bucks. Henry Phillip, a third grader at Ramsay Elementary took second place.

Prizes for all of the winners will be awarded on the night of the Christmas Stroll on Dec. 4 during the tree lighting ceremony at the corner of Park and Main streets.
