Bozeman burglary spree investigated

Police in Bozeman are still looking into a string of burglaries that happened on Thursday night and Friday morning.

The crimes were committed throughout Bozeman, but police report that the majority of them occurred in the 1700 block of West Kagy, at Hawks Ridge Condos.

Suspects checked garages and as they found them to be unlocked, entered them, took items ranging from snowboards to stereos, and then loaded them into a vehicle according to police.

Officials say that at least seven locations were entered and over $5,000 in items taken during the spree.

The Bozeman Police Department has located much of the stolen property in Helena, and in cooperation with detectives from the Helena Police Department then have identified three possible suspects.

Police report that so far, no arrests have been made in connection with burglaries at this time, but an investigation is still underway.

Anyone who has had items taken is urged to call the Bozeman Police Department at (406) 582.2000.
