The Butte Chamber of Commerce is making final preparations at the Butte Civic Center for its annual dinner and fundraiser.
Seven hundred people have sold out the reserved seats for dinner, but tickets are still on sale for Las Vegas entertainer Jason Hewlett who will perform at 8:30 p.m.
Hewlett is a one-man show who mixes a variety of impressions into a family friendly comedy act. He has earned performing roles with the world-renowned "Legends of Concert" of Las Vegas.
Hewlett took some time to demonstrate a few of his favorite impressions while getting ready for the show Wednesday in Butte.
"The Elton John is certainly fun, because I put on the whole outfit and the glasses and the hat and it's scary for airport security to go through my bags because they're like, 'What's this guy about?' But I love to do the velociraptor, and that comes at the end of the show, where you know the raptor from Jurassic Park...And of course, I didn't date much in high school as you can tell," Hewlett said.
Tickets for Hewlett's show are $15 and can be purchased at the Civic Center door or by calling the Butte Chamber of Commerce at 723-3177.
The show starts at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29.
