The Lake County Attorney's Office reports that bail has been set at $25,000 for the woman who is accused of stabbing a St. Ignatius man.
Lake County Undersheriff Jay Doyle says the St. Ignatius woman was arrested last Thursday at a home off Mission Creek Lane just east of St. Ignatius.
Deputies responded to a report of an assault with a weapon and found 52-year old Francis McDonald Jr. stabbed several times.
At last word, McDonald was listed in stable but guarded condition.

A 33-year old St. Ignatius woman is in custody as detectives investigate the stabbing of a local man.
Lake County Undersheriff Jay Doyle says the woman was arrested around 5:00 p.m. Thursday at a home off Mission Creek Lane just east of St. Ignatius.
Deputies were called to the home with the report of an assault with a weapon and found Francis McDonald Jr, 52, had been stabbed several times. Doyle says he was listed in stable but guarded condition at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
Doyle added that the exact motive for the stabbing is still being sorted out, but says the pair had been arguing.
