The man suspected of murder in the death of a Molt man last month made his initial appearance in Justice Court Monday.
Bond was set at $2-million Monday for Jeffrey Lynn Hardman, 48, of Molt.
Hardman is accused of killing his neighbor, Michael Blattie, 33, on the evening of October 16th at Blattie's home located at 2180 Molt-Rapelje Road.
Appearing before Justice of the Peace, Marilyn Kober, Hardman was charged with deliberate homicide by shooting his neighbor in the abdomen, causing his death.
Stillwater County Attorney, John Petak, recommended the $2-million bond amount, which Hardman had no objection to saying, "There's no way I can meet bond anyway."
Hardman was arrested last Friday afternoon.
Stillwater County Sheriff, Cliff Brophy, says the arrest was made based on information obtained during the ongoing investigation. No further information has been released.
Hardman's arraignment in Stillwater County is set for November 16th. In the meantime, he is being held at the Yellowstone County Detention Facility.
