The Lake County Attorney says that a 17-year old Polson girl will face charges for a crash that killed a well-known Polson man back in June.
Lyle Bagnell, 78, who died in a car crash on U.S. Highway 93 near Arlee, was best known publicly for his familiar voice while announcing Frenchtown Bronc football games.
Police say Bagnell was headed north toward Polson on U.S. Highway 93 when an oncoming vehicle crossed the centerline and collided with his vehicle killing him.
Lake County Attorney, Mitch Young says the 17-year old will be charged with two misdemeanors, careless driving and negligent endangerment.
Officials say she was looking down, lost concentration and crossed into the other lane, striking Bagnell's vehicle.
The 17-year-old will be charged in youth court.
