Lake County voters had a variety races and issues before them.
The results for Polson Mayor show that Pat Devries bet incumbent Mayor Lou Marchello, 812-312.
Meanwhile, the Polson Resort Tax has failed with 84% of Polson voters saying no to the 3% tax that would have been charged to specified goods and services for the purpose of reducing property taxes. The count was 951-186.
Polson voters also selected members of the City Commission on Tuesday. The winner for a four year term in Ward 2 was Michael Lies. He beat Murat Kalinyaprak 290-107 (73%-27%). The two year Polson City Commissioner for Ward 2 will be Judith Preston, who beat Jules Clavacetscher 226-193 (54%-46%).
The Polson City Commissioner for Ward 3, which is a four year term is Fred Funke. He beat Ken Siler 259-194 (57%-43%).
Ronan voters selected the Ronan City Judge, who will be Justin Bartels. He received 67 votes (57%), compared to Thomas Paro with 34 votes (29%) and Lauri Johns, 17 votes (14%).
The race for Ronan Alderman in Ward 1 went to Penelope Ann Ross with 66 votes. Ellen Kaphammer picked up 51 votes (56%-44%). In Ward 3, it was Richard Jungers over Paul Soukup, 63-30 (68%-32%).
The mayor's set in St. Ignatius was also up for grabs in Lake County. Charles Gariepy received 123 votes (55%) while John Wayne Mitchell had 71 votes (32%) and Joseph Mitchell got 29 votes (13%).
The St. Ignatius Alderman at Large will be Clarence McConnell, who won with 122 votes (31%). Rod Arlint was next with 117 votes (30%), followed by Daren Incashola 107 votes (27%) and Roger Lemon had 48 votes (12%).
