LIVINGSTON, Mont. (AP) - Headwaters GMC in Livingston closed its doors this week after decades of selling General Motors cars in the community.

Headwaters owner Dave Jackson said that the business is finalizing some work, but is no longer open.

Headwaters received a letter this past summer from General Motors telling the business that its contract with GM will be discontinued after Dec. 31.     

A sign on the door at the Livingston store said sales were still available at the operation's Belgrade location.
