Belgrade School Board members have decided to fire the district's clerk after she pleaded guilty to embezzling funds from a Bozeman wrestling club.

Trustees made the unanimous decision Monday night.

Susan Lang is accused of taking between $15,000 and $20,000 from the Bozeman Hawks Wrestling Club over the last five or six years while she acted as a bookkeeper for the organization.

She pleaded guilty to felony embezzlement and will be sentenced next month

Belgrade schools Superintendent Herb Benz has said that he does not believe Lang has taken any money from Belgrade schools.
