Billings residents gathered to remember those who have bravely fought for our country and those who have lost their lives.

Several branches of the military took part in Wednesday's Veterans Day Celebration at the U.S. Armed Forces Reserve Center.

A military chaplain told the crowd that despite generational differences and serving in different branches of the military in different parts of the world, all service men and women share a common bond of honor, country and loyalty.

The crowd was reminded that those in the military commit themselves to protect America's freedoms.

Senator Jon Tester and Congressman Denny Rehberg were on hand to thank all veterans for their sacrifice and for representing our country and the great state of Montana.

Senator Tester says four Montanans lost their lives fighting for America in Iraq and Afghanistan this year.
