A Billings man is facing felony charges of assault with a weapon after a road rage incident which happened on Wednesday evening.
Yellowstone County Sheriff Jay Bell says that Zachariah Larchick, 18, allegedly pointed a gun at a 32-year old Billings driver in another vehicle on Highway 312 just before 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Sheriff’s deputies and the Montana Highway Patrol located Larchick just past the 5 Corners convenience store, where he admitted to displaying his weapon, but claimed that the other driver was driving erratically.
But the victim reported that it was Larchick who was driving erratically. Larchick was arrested and booked into the Yellowstone County Detention Facility.
