A Bozeman church is rounding up shoe boxes filled with gifts for needy children worldwide.

Last year Grace Bible Church sent nearly 3,000 gift boxes to children in war zones, poverty stricken areas, and who live in areas affected by natural disasters. This year the church hopes to hit 4,000 gift boxes for kids.

The Samaritan's Purse organization sent over 7 million gift boxes to kids in over 100 countries last year.

The boxes were filled with simple items that may seem like a small gesture, but they are a big deal to those who get them.

Gift box donations are accepted at the Grace Bible Church on South 19th Avenue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
