New statistics out today show Montana fell one spot in the ranks of the healthiest states in America.
America's Health Rankings announced the Treasure State as the 26th-healthiest state in the nation.
Montana showed a low prevalence of obesity at 24.2% of the population.
The state also had a low incidence of infectious disease at 3.5 cases per 100,000 people.
According to the rankings, Montana has challenges with low immunization coverage and a high occupational fatalities rate at 8.6 deaths per 100,000 workers.
Vermont was ranked as the healthiest state in the nation; Mississippi ranked last in the results.

In the past year, immunization coverage decreased from 75.0 percent to 65.5 percent of children ages 19 to 35 months receiving complete immunizations. In the past five years, the prevalence of obesity increased from 18.8 percent to 24.2 percent of the population. In the last ten years, the violent crime rate increased from 132 to 258 offenses per 100,000 population. Since 1990, the rate of deaths from cardiovascular disease decreased from 351.0 to 241.6 deaths per 100,000 population.
