The 12th annual Festival of Trees gala event is being held this month to benefit the Liberty Place, which has acquired a 10-bed facility in Whitehall that was an assisted living home. The acquisition will allow the Liberty Place to expand its services and help more Montanans who have been severely disabled by brain injury. We are hoping to begin accepting residents in November.

All the proceeds of this years fundraiser will go to purchasing items for the new home - dishes, linens, towels, pots and pans, cleaning supplies, furniture, and some much needed therapy equipment.

The evening starts at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17 in the ballroom of the GranTree Inn, 1325 North 7th Avenue. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. After dinner attendees will have the chance to bid for the trees of their choice, as well as other exciting gift packages such as a guided fishing excursion, during the live auction.
