Three Missoula families became whole during an adoption finalization ceremony.
Adoptive moms and dads completed the final legal step in the adoption process on Tuesday before Missoula Judge John Larson and family members.
More than 200 children across Montana became a permanent part of a family this year. A little girl from China, one from Ethiopia, and a 9-year old girl from Missoula became members of their 'forever' families.
"It's hard to put into words what this is like. It's a great way for us to grow our family. It's just so perfect to grow our family this way," explains Adoptive Mom, Sheena Winterer.
The Winterer's daughter, Josephine was a special needs child from China. Sheena says so many children have minor, correctable problems who deserve loving families that she hopes others will open their hearts to them.
Adoptions became final with the aid of Catholic Social Services and Child and Family Services.
