The Banff Mountain Film Festival is here in the Flathead this week screening films about the outdoors of countries all over the world.

Among the films are topics like scaling the 6,000 meter Trango Pulpit in Pakistan; kayaking in Madagascar; climbing falling ice and water of distant waterfalls; and paddling the crocodile infested White Nile of Uganda.

The festival has stops planned in about 285 communities and 30 countries across the globe. You can catch some of the films on Wednesday at Flathead High School at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets are $12.00- and you can buy them at Rocky Mountain Outfitter, Sportsman Ski Haus, Runner Up and The White Room.
