Belgrade Senior Center hosts Thanksgiving dinner, artists show

The Belgrade Senior Center will host a Thanksgiving dinner and senior artist/author display show.

The events will take place at 92 East Cameron Ave. in Belgrade on Thursday, November 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Various items will be on display featuring authors with published books, baby quilts, jewelry, cards, watercolor and oil paintings, boot jacks, and bird houses to name just a few. The following authors will be in attendance ready to sign their books: Don Pierre with Western Trek, Kay and Byron McAllister with their new book, ".44 Short Stories," Jim Sargent with "Too Poor to Move" but Always Rich" and "199 Years Late," Arlene Sande with "Mountains be my Refuge," Karen Jellum with "The Unyielding Prairie; Stories of Homesteaders in Northwest Blaine County," Paul Krebill with "Sylva" and "Words for Thinking AND THOUGHTS for Meditation," and Tracie Peterson with her newest book "Dawn's Prelude."

A traditional Thanksgiving dinner will be served at noon along with the drawing for winners of the building fund raffle.
