A Butte man was arrested Friday morning for felony incest.
Benny Stewart, 48, turned himself in to authorities and appeared before Judge Bob Lee in Justice Court.
According to the complaint filed by the county attorney's office, Stewart allegedly had sexual intercourse or sexual contact with a child between January 1998 and November 2009 at a residence on C Street and Walnut Street in Butte.
Court papers allege that the victim was under the age of 12 during this period of time.
Lee set bond at $150,000.
The investigation is ongoing, county attorney Kelli Fivey said.
