A man in Butte has been taken into custody on a 48-hour investigative hold following a report of counterfeit bills being circulated at a local casino.
The man was picked up Monday at Lucky Lil's casino in South Montana Street following a report of counterfeit $50 bills, Sheriff John Walsh.
The man's identity was not released. The Secret Service has been contacted, Walsh said.
