A Frenchtown woman pleaded guilty to wire fraud and tax evasion for writing check and making wire transfers for herself and her husband using her employers accounts.
The Montana U.S. Attorney's Office says Tami Curley, 42, worked as the office manager for Rawlings Manufacturing Inc. in Missoula from 1998 through August, 2004.
From January, 2000 until August, 2004, Curley wrote checks and had wire transfers made from RMI's bank accounts to "cash" for herself, her husband, her business, her credit card companies, and others for her benefit.
She also made charges on the company's credit card. Curley faces up to 20 years in federal prison, a $250,000 fine and three years of supervised release.
