Representative Denny Rehberg visited Anaconda Wednesday for his 21 town hall meeting this year focusing on issues important to the Treasure State.

Rehberg fielded questions from a concerned group of Montanans, asking mostly about health care reform and Senator Jon Tester's Forest Jobs and Recreation Act.

Rehberg described a tireless role he has played thus far in reviewing bills surrounding the issues of concern. He also shared his rejection a government-run health care system, using Medicare as an example of the government's past failures.

"We love Medicare because of what it does for our seniors. The problem is it's going broke. It is anticipated that it will be broke by the year 2017 and so it's a great system. We're just not paying for it. And a rationing will continue to occur in Medicare because doctors are getting to the point where they cannot provide the service at the reimbursement rate to which they're being given," Rehberg said.

Rehberg also held a town hall meeting in Deer Lodge Wednesday morning.
