A Missoula family woke up early on Black Friday to satisfy the stomachs of eager shoppers and this year, and it paid off big for the owners of Lil Orbits Donuts. 

The mobile yellow box with tantalizing smells sets up shop with fresh hot donuts and tasty drinks, always drawing a crowd, whether  at the Hemp Fest in Caras Park or most recently, in the parking lot of Best Buy for Black Friday.

Owner Dan Bloomquist says winter can be a tough time of year to make money but hitting the right event can really pay off.

"It was our first time doing it, so we really weren't sure what to expect. But, we definitely felt it was worth to get up to come and do it. We were pleasantly surprised we did quite well. We thought it was a good day."

Bloomquist told us that he hopes to have a permanent location in Missoula for his donuts in the near future.
