After becoming a public figure in the campaign for medical marijuana a woman from Missoula has taken her on life. Robin Prosser killed herself October 18th at the age of 50.

She was an outspoken advocate for the medical use of marijuana and for a successful 2004 initiative allowing that use statewide.

Earlier this year federal drug agents seized a small quantity of marijuana that was being shipped to Prosser.

One medical marijuana advocate we spoke with said that action left Prosser without a reliable source of the drug.
