Amanda Kimmel of Kalispell made it to the final three in the season finale of Survivor China, but did not walk away with the $1,000,000 prize.

Kimmel won the last three challenges of the series, including a competition that gave her immunity going into the final voting council.

But in the end, competitor Todd Herzog convinced a jury of former Survivor China members to vote his way.

During a live vote reading that took place in Hollywood on Sunday night the final decision went to Herzog.

Kimmel spent a total of 40 days living as a Survivor competitor in China and will now return to Los Angeles to live with her sister.
