Barack Obama supporter Kristine Pierce said, "The fact that he would be willing to come to a high school in Billings, Montana, it was just incredible."

Senator Obama dazzled a large crowd of Montana democratics during his campaign speech in the Magic City. More than 2,000 people turned out to show their support for the Illinois senator.

"I felt for a long time that he is the last best chance to take our government back from the corporate special interests and he did not disappoint today not one bit.", said Bryan Stafford.

West High student Karissa Frye said, "He just always explains we are going to do this together and i just think that's really important."

Obama addressed many key issues from the war in Iraq to the economy, but his education policy seemed to be the favorite.

"That really resonates with me. I think the kids are our hugest asset they always have been and they always will be", Kristine Pierce

West High student Olivia Pierce-Eiselein said, "I feel like he was really personal, like he was reaching out to us and he can make a difference in our lives.

Supporters believe Obama's positive attitude will make America a stronger and more unified nation.

'He's got all of the right stuff which is rare in an individual in the first place but in addition to that he has the courage to share that with all of us." said Pierce

Senator Obama surely fired up the crowd at Billings West High school and his campaign is hoping this excited will last until Montana's June 3rd primary.

(From May 18, 2008)

Democratic Presidential candidate Barrack Obama will visit the Magic City on Monday and about 2,000 people are expected to fill the West High School gym.

Sunday, workers were busy getting ready for the big event as the lights, sound equipment and stage, make for a big time national event.

Where Senator Obama will hold his Town Hall style meeting, volunteers are setting up and anticipating the excitement of when the presidential candidate is in Billings.

"Oh it's so cool ...It's almost the coolest thing that's ever happened to West (High School)." says Obama volunteer Dana Grob.

Some Obama supporters say his visit aimed more at Republican nominee Senator John McCain than on Senator Hillary Clinton and supporters say they're hoping to get close enough to meet Senator Obama.

After he leaves Billings, Obama heads to Crow Agency to hold a campaign rally which will kick off at 2:45 p.m. in the Veterans Park in Crow Agency. If you would like to attend the event, you can show up at 12:30 p.m.

Officials with Obama's campaign say that people should not bring bags or a lot of personal items. The event is free, and the Crow Nation is welcoming members of the public from across Montana.

Monday night, the Democratic presidential front runner will also hold a campaign rally in Bozeman, where he'll speak at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse on the MSU campus at 7:30 p.m.
