An Eastern Montana woman who met Senator Barack Obama Thursday night after his acceptance speech flew back to Billings Friday morning still excited about what she calls an "incredible" experience.

Barb Sackman was one of the more than 84,000 people who cheered on Obama at Invesco Field at Mile High.

Sackman is a teacher from Fallon.

She was one of ten supporters across the country who won a free trip to Denver for the convention.

The schoolteacher said being at the convention and meeting Obama is an experience she'll never forget.

Shortly before Senator Obama's acceptance speech on Thursday night, Barb Sackman of Fallon had the chance to meet the presidential candidate.

She's one of 10 supporters from across the country selected to be "Backstage with Barack" during the convention.

Sackman says that being in the stadium watching Obama's speech with thousands of other supporters was more than she could have ever dreamed of.

A woman from eastern Montana who is one of ten "Backstage with Barrack" winners says it's been incredible to be at the Democratic National Convention in Denver.

Barb Sackman of Fallon says she got to shake hands with former President Jimmy Carter and is also sitting about five feet away from him at the Pepsi Center.

Sackman adds that she walked into the arena just as Montana's delegates cast their votes, and everybody was standing when Senator Barrack Obama received enough delegates for the presidential nomination.

"The crowd just went wild. I had goose bumps all over. And it just shook the house. It was great and it was surreal" said Sackman. "Really. It was amazing. It's more than I ever could have dreamed of."

Sackman will get to meet Senator Obama on Thursday.

An eastern Montana woman who won a national contest called "Backstage with Barack" flew out of Billings Tuesday.

She missed the Senator Barack Obama's arrival here by an hour, but will meet up with him in Denver.

Barb Sackman of Fallon entered a nationwide contest on Obama's Web site by donating a few dollars.

Sackman is one of 10 winners across the country who won a free trip to Denver for the convention.

The schoolteacher will also get a private meeting with Obama before he takes the stage at the Democratic National Convention.

Before Sackman left for her trip, she met with a group of women involved in politics in Billings.

Sackman said she still can't believe she won.

"It's totally surreal. It still hasn't sunk in, and I don't think until we get there and it all happens. Unfortunately, I'm afraid that it's going to happen too fast, and I just want to savor every moment," Sackman said.
