The Missoula County Sheriff's Department says search crews began their search Sunday night at 10:00 p.m., but then at around 1:30 p.m. on Monday he walked up to rescuers uninjured, but cold and dehydrated.
Boilek left his home on Cleveland Street Sunday afternoon and rode his mountain bike to the Rattlesnake trail head just off Sawmill Gulch Road.
The search spanned from trails that begin in the Rattlesnake and extend over into the Snow Bowl area.
A half dozen searchers looked for Boilek through the night, and on Monday their numbers doubled.
He told searchers he spent most of the night walking the trails in the area to stay warm.
