Grizzly bear euthanized in Lincoln County

EUREKA - State wildlife officials euthanized a 3-year-old, 177-pound female grizzly bear on Saturday after she was captured by Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks biologists in the Glenn Lake area near Eureka.

Pine beetle spraying scheduled for Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest

The Forest Service will be spraying for mountain pine beetles in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest over the next few weeks.
Tree treatments start in June. Forest Service workers will continue to spray through mid-July.

Bozeman area trails get some TLC during National Trails Day
