Caution tonight! Snow is beginning to stick over the mountain passes here in SW Montana. Wet roadways will be icing up by morning. Give yourself plenty of extra time to travel over the mountain passes. For a complete road report and MDOT camera links go to this link.

A high wind warning continues through midnight tonight for all of Southwest Montana.
Winds are increasing this afternoon as a cold front is moving through.
West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph are possible. Property damage is also possible, as well as falling trees, downed power lines and dangerous highway travel for high profile vehicles.

Warming trend continues into Friday for Montana. Temperatures should rise above average over the next 24 hours.
Strong winds are likely to develop by Saturday. NWS issued a Wind Advisory for the Butte/Blackfoot region Saturday. SW winds 15-25 mph Saturday morning will increase to 25-35 with gusts up to 50 mph Saturday afternoon.
