MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - Anthony Johnson's knees appeared to hold up well during Montana's intrasquad scrimmage this week.
The Big Sky Conference's leading scorer last season scored 25 points in the Maroon's 69-65 victory over the Silver in the Tuesday night scrimmage in front of several hundred fans at Dahlberg Arena.
Johnson averaged 17.6 points a game last season while being named the league's top newcomer and becoming the first Griz to lead the league in that category since 1991.
Johnson developed tendinitis in his knees since putting on more muscle over the summer.
But he says he's at full strength now and ready for the season.
