HELENA, Mont. (AP) - Montana's 2009 general big game hunting season will close at one-half hour after sunset on Sunday.
The state Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks says the general season closure includes hunting for most deer, elk and moose and for black bear, bighorn sheep, mountain goat and fall mountain lion.
FWP chief Ken McDonald says the agency is not planning any season extensions anywhere in the state this year.
Montana's 2009 general stream fishing season is set to close on Monday.
