Montana Democrats readying for elections

Updated:

Democrats in Montana have joined up with their fellow party faithful from across the nation, in marking the 100 day countdown until November's big elections.

Democrats hope to regain the House and Senate, so they're training volunteers and getting to know voters.

On Sunday, 31 communities across the state mobilized to spread the new Democratic slogan for the 2006 elections, "Real Montana. Real change."

In Great Falls Sunday, volunteers gathered at the Democratic party headquarters. Nationwide, more than 800 took place, including 19 in Montana.
