Shodair Hospital in Helena continues to provide access to medical expertise and services to families across the state.

During a session today the focus was on providing care and counseling for patients with a variety of genetic conditions.

Dr. James Reynolds, a clinical geneticist at Shodair, said, "I think people are more aware of genetic issues and concerns and family history. So, we get referrals from not only physicians but sometimes a family themselves, or the social service organizations will refer to us too."

Shodair will be providing the clinics across the state through the month of December, including Helena on December 2nd, and Great Falls on December 5th and 10th.
