101 candidates submitted for Butte Sports Hall of Fame

BUTTE-101 candidates have been submitted for the Butte Sports Hall of Fame.

Chairman Pat Kearney says the hall of fame committee is considering candidates involved in sports from 1964 to 1998.

New inductees enter the Butte Sports Hall of Fame every two years.

On Monday night the public attended a hearing and spoke on behalf of candidates.

The committee will be meeting over the next 3 weeks, leading up to the election on February 11th.

On February 12th the new inductees will be announced at the Butte Civic Center at 1pm.
