MISSOULA - An abandoned vehicle on the corner of Grant and Harve caught fire in Missoula on Sunday evening.
Officials say a notice was posted on a Suzuki Vitara on September 17th, and the vehicle was set to be towed on Sunday. They added that the rear left tire was flat, and the steering column had been broken.
The Missoula City Fire Department was called to the scene at around 5:30 p.m., and quickly doused the flames.
Missoula Fire Inspector Garrett Venters says the windows of the car were open when crews arrived on the scene.
There's no word om what caused the fire, which is now being investigated by the Missoula Police Department.
