Anaconda Deer-Lodge County Commissioners voted to spend nearly $300,000 in the waterline replacement project, according to Connie Ternes-Daniels, chief executive for Anaconda-Deer-Lodge County.
This is a small portion of the 2013 waterline replacement project, according to Ternes-Daniels. The entire project will cost $9 million which is funded by the Natural Resources Damage Program. The nearly $300,000 will be spent on the east cross streets in Anaconda.
Five years of projects are still underway, according to Ternes-Daniels.
Anaconda Commissioners will meet again on Jan. 8, 2013.
